On-Line Writing Workshop
Welcome to my on-line writing workshop. Although many, if not most, of the lessons are appropriate for any genre, the course as a whole is geared toward writing the mystery. In the future, there will be a separate course for fantasy writers.
The workshop begins with a brief introduction, followed by a series of lessons covering a fast first draft (one week of preparation and five to six weeks of writing), then several sessions on editing (which is where the lessons on dialogue, description, and avoiding clichés will go), and finally some segments on agents, publishing, and marketing.
I'll be adding new lessons over time. For now, there is only one rule: Have fun!
